At Real Auto Rentals, we strive to provide a fair and transparent booking experience. This Refund & Cancellation Policy explains how reservation payments, cancellations, refunds, and security deposits are handled.
By making a reservation with Real Auto Rentals, you acknowledge that you have read and accepted this policy.
A reservation is confirmed only after:
Until both conditions are met, a vehicle is not guaranteed.
To secure selected reservations, Real Auto Rentals may require a non-transferable reservation deposit.
The reservation deposit is separate from the refundable security deposit required at vehicle pickup.
Reservations cancelled:
During periods of exceptionally high demand, including but not limited to:
Reservation deposits become non-refundable once the reservation has been confirmed, as the vehicle is removed from inventory and reserved exclusively for the customer.
A reservation will be classified as a No-Show if the renter:
Reservation deposits for No-Show bookings are non-refundable.
Customers arriving by air should provide accurate flight information when booking.
If your flight is delayed, please notify us as soon as possible.
We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate delayed arrivals. Failure to notify us may result in the reservation being treated as a No-Show.
Reservation changes are subject to:
Changes requested during Peak Season cannot be guaranteed.
Returning a vehicle before the scheduled return date does not automatically entitle the renter to a refund.
Unused rental days are generally non-refundable.
Refunds for early returns are issued only at the sole discretion of Real Auto Rentals or where required by applicable law.
While every reasonable effort is made to provide the reserved vehicle, Real Auto Rentals reserves the right to substitute a comparable or upgraded vehicle if circumstances beyond our control make the reserved vehicle unavailable.
Such substitutions do not constitute grounds for cancellation or refund.
The security deposit collected at vehicle pickup is separate from the reservation deposit.
Provided the vehicle is returned in accordance with the Rental Agreement, without damage, excessive cleaning requirements, traffic violations, unpaid tolls, missing fuel, or other outstanding charges, the security deposit will be released or refunded.
Depending on the issuing bank, release of funds may take 5–14 business days.
Approved refunds are processed to the original payment method whenever possible.
Once processed by Real Auto Rentals, financial institutions may require 5–10 business days to complete the transaction.
Real Auto Rentals is not responsible for delays caused by banks or payment providers.
If Real Auto Rentals is unable to provide a reserved vehicle due to circumstances within our reasonable control and an acceptable replacement cannot be offered, the customer will receive a full refund of any reservation payment made.
This refund represents the customer's sole remedy.
Real Auto Rentals shall not be liable for cancellations, delays, or interruptions caused by events beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to hurricanes, flooding, earthquakes, public emergencies, government restrictions, airport closures, civil unrest, strikes, or other unforeseen events.
Refund eligibility in these situations will be determined at the discretion of Real Auto Rentals.
Customers agree to contact Real Auto Rentals before initiating a chargeback or payment dispute.
Real Auto Rentals reserves the right to provide booking confirmations, signed rental agreements, inspection reports, photographs, payment records, and communication history to financial institutions to contest invalid chargebacks.
Real Auto Rentals reserves the right to amend this Refund & Cancellation Policy at any time.
The version in effect on the reservation date will apply to that booking.
